Withdrawal & cancellation

No right of withdrawal for package travel

Package travel contracts (§ 651a BGB) are governed by the special rules of § 312 BGB. The 14-day right of withdrawal for distance and off-premises contracts (§ 312g (1) BGB) generally does not apply; in addition, the individual travel services are exempt under § 312g (2) no. 9 BGB (accommodation and date-bound leisure services). A booking concluded online via fanfly24 is therefore not subject to a right of withdrawal. By clicking “Book with obligation to pay”, you place a binding, payment-obligating booking.

If, by way of exception, a contract is initiated and concluded off-premises (e.g. at an on-site promotion), a right of withdrawal may exceptionally apply. In that case we will inform you separately and provide a withdrawal notice.

Your right of cancellation (§ 651h BGB)

You may cancel the trip at any time before travel begins, without giving reasons. In this case we may charge a reasonable compensation (cancellation fee); the applicable scales are set out in our travel terms. You are always free to prove that we incurred no loss or a lower loss (§ 309 no. 5 lit. b BGB).

Extraordinary circumstances at the destination (§ 651h (3) BGB)

If unavoidable, extraordinary circumstances occur at or near the destination (e.g. war, civil unrest, natural disasters, epidemics) that significantly affect the trip, cancellation is free of charge and all payments are refunded. A mere cancellation, postponement or behind-closed-doors match is not such an extraordinary circumstance but a performance defect; section 8 of our travel terms governs that case.

Automatic balance payment

With the deposit (20%) you authorise us to collect the balance (80%) automatically from your stored payment method 30 days before travel begins. We will notify you in advance. If you cancel before then, the cancellation scale in section 5 of the travel terms applies.

Transfer to another person (§ 651e BGB)

If you are prevented from travelling, you may name a substitute person to take over the contract up to 7 days before travel begins. Please note that the stadium ticket is issued personalised by the association; if re-personalisation is not possible, the transferability of the ticket portion is limited accordingly. Section 6 of our travel terms applies.

Withdrawal, cancellation and transfer — the difference

  • Withdrawal (§ 312g BGB): generally does not apply here.
  • Cancellation (§ 651h BGB): possible any time before travel begins, generally against a cancellation fee.
  • Transfer (§ 651e BGB): substitute person instead of cancelling — often the cheaper option.
To the travel terms and cancellation scalesThe travel terms are currently available in German only; the German version prevails.
